Canari Games has recently announced their latest project, a 2D action-adventure game titled Castaway, drawing inspiration from legendary titles such as The Legend of Zelda: A

In Castaway, players will step into the shoes of Martin, a character who finds himself on a mysterious island following a spaceship crash. His journey begins when hostile beings take his pet captive, prompting Martin to reclaim his weaponry and embark on a quest to save his beloved pet. The narrative unfolds through story mode, featuring three boss battles, alongside a Survivor Mode challenging the player to endure a tower filled with 50 levels of escalating difficulty.
The game equips players with a diverse arsenal of weapons to navigate through their journey. Choices range from a grappling hook that enhances mobility, a pickaxe that delivers potent force, to a swift sword. This variety ensures that players can strategically select their preferred tools to tackle different situations.
